July was not a quiet month for us.
We rebranded. We hosted a four-night summit. We celebrated four years in business, showed up for our community, cheered on our people, and started building toward something big in August.
If you've been following along, you already caught pieces of it. Here's the whole story in one place.

After four years of building this company, we gave it a look that finally matches who we've become.
The new identity is bold, modern, confident, and ready for what's next. Cleaner lines. Stronger presence. A brand that carries itself the way our team carries the work.
But here's what we want to be clear about: the mission has not changed.
We are still here to help business owners reclaim their time, build stronger systems, and grow with the right support behind them. The same people. The same standards. The same obsession with getting our clients out of the weeds and back into their CEO seat.
New look. Same mission. Even bigger vision.
If you've worked with us before, you'll recognize everything that matters. If you're just finding us now, this is the version of I Need A VA we've been growing toward the whole time.
July 21–24, we hosted 4 The Freedom Summit in celebration of our 4-year anniversary.
Four nights. Four women who own their craft completely. One blueprint for the business owners who are tired of being the bottleneck in their own company.
The lineup:
July 21: Angelica Williams | Monetize Your Movement Turning your purpose into profit without losing your peace. How to stop creating content that goes nowhere and start building a brand that actually converts.
July 22: Atty. Domonique Price | Protect Your Empire The contracts and legal groundwork every business owner needs in place before something goes wrong, not after.
July 23: Te-a Hudson | Stop Sleeping on AI Spotting the repetitive work that quietly eats your week, and automating it out of your calendar.
July 24: Brittany Bettini | Delegate & Lead the CEO Shift How to stop being the bottleneck in your own business and finally step into your CEO era.
Four nights of the exact conversations most entrepreneurs are having alone at 11 p.m. And it was completely free to attend.
The premise was simple: you started your business for freedom, so why does it still feel like a trap? For four nights, we did something about that.
Missed it? The summit doesn't end when the summit ends.
All four sessions are now inside the Training Vault, plus monthly live trainings with real Q&A, expert masterclasses from guest pros, and every past replay on demand. Watch at 6 a.m. or after bedtime. It's yours whenever you have a minute.

Right at the start of the month, we paused to celebrate freedom, big dreams, and the people who make both possible.
It felt fitting. Freedom is the whole reason this company exists. Not the abstract kind, but the practical kind. Closing your laptop at 5 p.m. and being present at dinner. Taking a vacation without your business grinding to a halt. Spending your hours on the things only you can do.
That's why our clients hired their first VA, why our team members chose remote work, and why we spent four nights in July teaching people how to build a business that doesn't depend on them doing everything themselves.
So we grilled, we rested, we celebrated. Then we got back to helping business owners declare a little independence of their own.
Happy Fourth of July from the I Need A VA family.
Since freedom was the theme of the month, here's the question we get most often: what should I actually delegate first?
Most business owners hire a VA and then freeze, because handing off work feels harder than just doing it. So they keep doing it. Here's the order we recommend.
1. Inbox and calendar. This is where most owners lose the first two hours of every day. A VA who triages your inbox, flags what needs you, and defends your calendar buys back more time than almost anything else you can delegate.
2. Anything with a repeatable process. Invoicing, onboarding packets, follow-up sequences, weekly reports. If you've done it the same way three times, it's ready to be documented and handed over.
3. Meeting logistics. Scheduling, confirmations, reminders, no-show follow-ups, prep documents. Small tasks individually. Enormous in aggregate.
4. Content and social admin. Not necessarily the ideas, but the formatting, scheduling, captions, resizing, posting, and comment management around them.
5. Research and data entry. Lead lists, vendor comparisons, event applications, CRM cleanup. Low-judgment, high-time work that rarely needs you specifically.
What to keep, at least at first: your vision, your pricing decisions, your key client relationships, and anything requiring your specific expertise.
One more thing worth saying out loud: delegating badly is worse than not delegating. If you hand off a task with no context, no process, and no way to check the outcome, you'll get frustrated and take it back. That's why we don't just match you with a person. We help you build the system that person plugs into.
If you're not sure where to start, start by tracking your week. Write down every task for five days. Then circle everything that didn't require you. That list is your first delegation plan.

We were honored to support Monica's Boots & Bourbon event as one of this year's sponsors.
If you've never been, the name tells you most of what you need to know. Boots, bourbon, good food, and a room full of people who came to have a great time for a great reason. It's the kind of night where you walk in knowing a handful of people and walk out knowing half the room.
Sponsoring events like this one isn't a marketing decision for us. It's a values decision. The communities we work in are the same communities our clients build their businesses in, and showing up for them matters. Sometimes that looks like a summit or a training. Sometimes it looks like putting our name behind a night that brings good people together.
Great cause, great crowd, and another reminder that business is at its best when it gives back. Thank you, Monica, for letting us be part of it. Count us in for next year.

Our very own CEO, Brittany Bettini, is officially back on TikTok Live.
If you've caught her lives before, you know the format. No scripts, no fluff. Just real business strategies, delegation tips, AI insights, and behind-the-scenes conversations with entrepreneurs who are in the thick of it. She answers questions on the spot, breaks down what's working inside I Need A VA right now, and shares the same advice she gives our own clients.
It's the closest thing to a free consult you'll find. If you've ever wanted to ask her directly how to hand off your inbox, automate the busywork, or finally step out of the day-to-day, this is the room to be in.
Follow us on TikTok and turn on notifications so you never miss a live. Come with questions. Boss Brittany will bring the answers.
REGROUP is a monthly women's empowerment breakfast hosted by Bettini Community Charities, and I Need A VA is proud to be a partner.
It's a gathering for survivors of intimate partner violence, women in business, and community leaders in Hendersonville, NC. Every third Thursday of the month, over a hot breakfast, the room fills with real conversation, collaboration circles, resource sharing, and the kind of encouragement that's hard to find anywhere else.
The July gathering fell on Thursday, July 16. Come as you are. Bring a friend.
The impact speaks for itself: more than 300 women reached, with the large majority reporting greater confidence and less isolation after attending. And thanks to sponsors, it stays free for every woman who walks through the door.
Bettini Community Charities was founded in 2023 by Brittany Bettini, a survivor herself, with a mission centered on the economic independence of women rebuilding their lives. Economic abuse is one of the most common weapons used in intimate partner violence, and one of the hardest barriers to overcome afterward. REGROUP exists to chip away at that barrier, one morning at a time.
Next one is the third Thursday of the month. Details and registration: bettinicommunitycharities.org/regroup
One of the women who makes that room what it is: Lynette Oliver, Henderson County's ATHENA Award winner and the force behind Back on Track Trackside Treasures Market & Addiction Ministries.
We've had the privilege of working alongside Lynette and Back on Track on their marketing, and the work she does in our community is remarkable. She's helping end the stigma around addiction, placing people in treatment, walking families through recovery, and frequently covering the cost herself.
Now it's our turn to show up for her. Lynette is hosting the Denim and Diamonds Overdose Awareness Night, and we're asking our community to grab a seat and be there.

Addiction isn't a glamorous cause. That's exactly why it needs louder support. Real change is happening here, led by real people who need our community behind them.

August takes us to ICON26 in Dallas, one of the largest female founder conferences in the country, and we'll be there as a vendor on August 12.
Here's the part we love about how it happened: the opportunity came from our own team. One of our VAs had been quietly researching and pitching I Need A VA to events aligned with our new direction, working exclusively with female founders. He found ICON26, submitted the vendor application, and landed us a spot in a room full of exactly the people we're built to serve.
That's what good support work looks like. Not just clearing tasks off a list, but actively moving the business forward while the CEO is focused elsewhere.
ICON26 is also where we're taking the new brand out into the world for the first time. New pricing, new branding, and our new mission, launching live on the ground in Dallas.
If you're attending, come find us. We'd love to meet you in person. Not registered yet? Details and tickets are at ewnicon.com.

None of the above happens without the people behind it.
Think about what July actually asked of this team. A rebrand, a launch, a four-night summit, and the social rollout, all happening at once, all while serving hundreds of clients who never felt a single dropped ball. The graphics got designed, the emails got sent, the Zoom rooms got set up, the speakers got briefed, and the client work kept moving like it was any other month.
That doesn't happen by accident. It happens because this team plans ahead, backs each other up, and takes real pride in the work. Nobody on this team coasted through July.
Many of them have been here since the very beginning, four years of showing up and building this thing alongside us. Here's a look at what they were up to this month.
Every month, our internal team and VAs come together for company-wide training, and July's session was led by our CEO, Brittany Bettini.
The topic: how AI can become your VA's VA. Practical, hands-on ways to work smarter and faster, so our VAs can automate their own busywork and spend more of their hours on the things that actually move a client's business forward.
We don't just tell clients to delegate and automate. We build those systems internally first, then bring them to you.

Every month, we recognize the team members whose work stood out, and July gave us three names worth celebrating.
From our external VA team, congratulations to Truthful Millares and Paula Capili. The clients they support see it every day: work that shows up on time, done right, with the kind of care you can't fake.
And from our internal team, congratulations to Noemi Lipaopao, who keeps things running behind the scenes so everything you see out front looks effortless.
To all three: thank you for setting the standard. This is what "Best VA" looks like.

We celebrated two of our own this month:
Henrick (Nick) — Executive Assistant to our CEO. He's the reason the calendar runs, the consults get confirmed, the Zoom rooms are never empty, and the day has a plan before it starts. Every leader needs someone who sees around corners. Nick is that person here.
Charlene — one of our external VAs, and a favorite among the clients she supports.
Happy birthday to both of you. This team is better because you're on it.

We asked Queenie Nacipo what it's actually like working at I Need A VA. Her answer:
"Working here has been such a fun and rewarding experience. There's always room for growth, and the team's support is incredible. One thing I really appreciate is that I never feel pressured. Everyone genuinely wants to see each other succeed, which creates a positive and encouraging environment."
Her most memorable moment? The team trip to Cebu.
"It was a special experience for the entire internal team because it was the first time many of us met Boss Brittany in person. Being able to spend time together, share stories, and learn more about her vision for the company was truly inspiring. It was amazing to see how down-to-earth, fun, supportive, and caring she is. I'm incredibly grateful to be part of a team led by such an amazing boss."
Most of our VAs are based in the Philippines. Our clients are spread across the globe. Closing that distance in person, even once, changes everything about how a remote team works together.
July gave us a new logo, a four-year anniversary, a summit that filled a room, a community worth standing behind, and a team that carried all of it at once.
August takes us to ICON26 with a new brand, new pricing, and a new mission.
If you're still the bottleneck in your own business, that's a solvable problem. It's the only problem we work on.
