They say working remotely means working alone. We beg to differ.
March was proof — again — that the heart of I Need A VA isn't just the work we deliver to our clients. It's the people behind the screens, the laughter in the group chats, and yes, the real-life hugs when we finally get to be in the same room. Here's a look at everything that made this month special.
Picture this: a team that already shows up hard every day online — and then actually shows up, in person, to make it even more real.
This month, our Social Media Marketing team had a special guest join their meetup. Noemi from our Recruitment Department! She wasn't just there to hang out though. The team invited her to come together, connect, and actually create content for our socials on the spot.

It was a fun, creative, and genuinely energizing collaboration. Miss Noems brought her fresh perspective and enthusiasm to the table, and together they put out content that reflects exactly who we are as a team — real, relatable, and full of heart.
Because as much as we thrive in the digital space — the Slack pings, the Zoom calls, the shared Google Docs at midnight — nothing hits quite like being in the same room, creating something together, and realizing just how incredible your people are.
Noemi, thank you for showing up and bringing your energy. We loved having you!
And honestly? This has us thinking — who's next? 👀
We love seeing different departments come together, share their worlds, and create something bigger than what any one team could do alone. If you're part of the I Need A VA family and this is speaking to you — we see you. Maybe the next collaboration features you. 🙌 Watch this space!
This month, our team had the sweetest reason to gather — the birthday of little Thea, the adorable daughter of Rochann from our Recruitment team! 🎀

Mabelle, our Operations Manager, joined the celebration alongside the team, and it was one of those moments that reminds us exactly who we are as a company. We're not just a group of people clocking in and out from different corners of the Philippines and beyond. We show up for each other, for the milestones, the big wins, and yes, even the first birthdays.
There's something about seeing a baby surrounded by a team that genuinely loves and supports one another that puts everything in perspective. We are not just colleagues who happen to work together online. We are a family. The bonds we've built across time zones and thousands of miles are real — and when we do get to be together, it feels like no distance ever existed.
Happy birthday, sweet Thea! 🎂
If you know Miss Mabelle, you already know — she is simply that girl. And this March, we got to celebrate one of our favorite milestones: Mabelle's 4th work anniversary with I Need A VA! 🎊
Here's the thing about Mabelle that makes her so special, she doesn't leave her full self at the door when she logs on. The same woman who's booking her next adventure, hunting down the best food spots, and saying yes to every outdoor experience life throws her way? That's the exact same energy she brings to work every single day. Fun, fearless, and fully present.

As our Operations Manager, Mabelle is the definition of hands-on. She doesn't just oversee things from a distance she's in it with you. When the team needs direction, she's there. When things get complicated, she rolls up her sleeves. When someone needs support, she shows up not because it's in her job description, but because that's just who she is. Generous to the core, and kind in a way that you genuinely feel.
She's also living proof that work-life balance isn't just a buzzword. Mabelle has mastered the art of pouring everything into her work and into her life outside of it the travels, the food trips, the adventures and somehow doing both brilliantly. That balance isn't accidental. It's intentional. And it inspires everyone around her to protect their own joy too.
Four years of showing up as her whole, wonderful, adventurous self. Four years of keeping operations tight while keeping the culture warm. Four years of being someone this team genuinely looks up to not just as a manager, but as a person.
Mabelle, you are so deeply appreciated. Thank you for bringing your whole heart to everything you do here. The best is still ahead for you and for all the adventures waiting.
Let's be clear about something: at I Need A VA, training isn't a "nice to have." It's a standard. It's part of our DNA. And every single month, we prove it.
March's training session? It was a good one, and what made it extra special was who was standing in front of the room.
We were joined by John Levi Mistades, one of our external VAs who volunteered his time and expertise to train the team. That kind of generosity doesn't go unnoticed, and it speaks volumes about the kind of people we have in our circle.

The topic was Systeme.io Funnel & Email Setup — one of the most in-demand skill sets for VAs today. John broke down exactly how to build high-converting funnels and set up automated email sequences, giving our team tools they can deploy immediately for the clients they serve. We're talking real, actionable, revenue-impacting skills.
And to cap off a great session, we made sure to keep the energy high — I Need A VA hosted a wheel spin where 5 lucky winners walked away with $20 each. Because great effort deserves to be celebrated!
This is what growth looks like at I Need A VA — not just reading about skills, but learning them from people who are actually in the trenches using them. A volunteer who shows up, teaches, and pours into the team — that's a full-circle moment we'll always remember.
Thank you, John. Our team is better because of you.
Not everyone gets a seat at this table. And this month, some of our very own I Need A VA team members earned theirs, and they showed up and delivered.
Selected internal members from our team were chosen to join Cohort 2 of the World's Best DA Academy, a program personally facilitated by Miss Avigail Schondorf herself. And let's just say having someone of her caliber lead every session raised the bar from day one.
Here's what makes this academy different from anything else out there. It starts with a question most people don't ask: What's the real difference between a Virtual Assistant and a Distant Assistant?
A VA completes tasks. A Distant Assistant (DA) thinks three steps ahead. A DA serves as the "external prefrontal cortex" for a founder catching what they miss, organizing what they can't hold, and supporting them in ways that go far beyond a to-do list. This is especially powerful for ADHD and neurodivergent entrepreneurs who need more than task completion they need a true thinking partner. That is the level our team was being trained to operate at.

Over 4 intensive weeks, our team showed up for 5 live sessions (90 minutes each) — cameras on, minds sharp, zero excuses. The curriculum was no joke either: the FRAME Communication System to manage client stress and regulate communication, the Octopus Method for strategic project auditing, and Decision Support Architecture to help founders make better decisions faster. All of it building toward a Capstone Project and Graduation.
The golden rules? 100% attendance. Full participation. Honest feedback. No exceptions. And our team? They honored every single one.
Graduates walked away with an official World's Best DA Academy Certificate — and more importantly, a completely elevated understanding of what it means to truly support a founder at the highest level.
We are so incredibly proud. At I Need A VA, we don't just hire great people. We invest in turning them into something extraordinary. Congratulations to everyone who completed Cohort 2!
If you've ever tuned into one of our lives and walked away feeling like you genuinely understood what I Need A VA is all about — that's Miss V and Kween working their magic.
These two are more than content creators. They are the real-time voice of I Need A VA — showing up live, regularly, to do something most companies never do: open the doors completely and let people in.

Every time Miss V and Kween go live, they bring the full picture. The who we are — our culture, our values, what makes this agency different from every other VA company out there. The what we're looking for — priority roles, open positions, and exactly the kind of talent we're excited to bring into our family. The how it works — processes, qualifications, what to expect, what it's really like to be a VA at I Need A VA. No gatekeeping. No corporate scripts. Just two incredibly knowledgeable, warm, and engaging women answering every single question a prospective VA could possibly have — in real time, with zero hesitation.
And that's what makes them so valuable. Because anyone can post a job ad. Not everyone can sit in front of a live audience, handle question after question, represent the brand with accuracy AND personality, and make every single viewer feel like they're already part of the team before they've even applied.
Miss V and Kween do exactly that — every. single. time.
They are a bridge. Between curious applicants and the family they could become part of. Between questions and clarity. Between I wonder if this is for me and I'm applying right now.
To every VA who found us through a live — there's a very good chance Miss V or Kween was the reason you stayed.
Miss V, Kween — thank you for being the heart and the hustle behind our community-building. You two are irreplaceable.
Not following us yet? Catch Miss V and Kween live and see for yourself why our community keeps coming back. Your questions are always welcome — they've got answers.
Every month, this recognition reminds us of something we never take for granted — the incredible people inside this agency who pour their hearts into the work and the people they serve.

This March, we are proud to celebrate three standout individuals across our External and Internal teams.
Representing our External VAs, Jeneva C. and Erica F. have been nothing short of outstanding this month. These two ladies showed up for their clients and for this agency with a level of dedication, professionalism, and heart that truly reflects what I Need A VA is all about. The work they deliver and the relationships they build speak for themselves — and we could not be prouder to have them representing our brand.
On the Internal Team side, Henrick D. stepped up in all the right ways this month. A reliable presence, a true team player, and someone who consistently goes beyond what is expected — Henrick is exactly the kind of person that makes our internal operations stronger and our culture richer.
To all three — your efforts this month did not go unnoticed. You are seen, you are celebrated, and you are so deserving of this spotlight. Thank you for being the best of what I Need A VA stands for.

March reminded us why we do what we do. Not just to support businesses and help clients succeed, but to build something that our team is genuinely proud to be part of. A community. A family. A place where growth is expected, celebration is regular, and no one ever feels truly alone, even when we are thousands of miles apart.
Every month, we show up a little stronger, a little closer, and a little more certain that what we are building here is something truly special. The connections are real. The wins are shared. And the people? They are everything.
Here's to April and everything it holds. 🌸
